Ronaldo’s mother weeps as she remembers her stroke: I hoped to God not to take me

CristianoCristiano’s mom remembered the minute prior to she was hurried to medical facility

Dolores Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mom, suffered a stroke that nearly took her life on March 3, 2020.

Now, she is making a progressive healing and is grateful to be by her household’s side.

“It was difficult and I thought it was the end for me,” Dolores confessed to the Portuguese media outlet ITV.

“When I saw my eldest grandson, ‘Cristianinho’, come into my room to visit me, it was a big shock for me.

” I hoped to God not to take me; I wish to see my grandchildren mature which’s what occurred. There was a great deal of faith there, however it was hard.”

Cristiano’s mother also recalled the moment before she was rushed to hospital.

” I got up to go to the restroom and passed out; I dropped,” Dolores noted.

“When I recuperated I attempted to get up, however I understood that the left side of my body was paralysed. I called my partner, Jose Andrade, and informed him I didn’t feel well and asked him to call 999. I do not keep in mind getting to the medical facility.

“In my case, it was five minutes. Cristiano called the doctor from Italy and thank God I had the operation. Many people are not as lucky as me.

“My healing is progressive. I left the medical facility walking, however it has actually impacted my left side, my mouth, my leg, my speech. A year ago today, I saw my life nearly go through my fingers.”
